Lil’ Easy is a cute and fun vibe once you take a step onto the property. It has indoor and outdoor seating. Service is great and fast! Food was great! You can either get a bowl or cups. In our opinion that’s always a great option for people who like variety. I just wish I had more Gumbo cause it was really good!

I’ve been on the hunt for my New Orleans flavors right here in Austin, and thanks to the Frankie App, I stumbled across this spot and thought, “Why not go see?” Baby, I was not ready. I walked in and instantly felt like I’d stepped straight into the Bayou. The vibe hits you before you even sit down. They greeted us ... at the door, and we barely waited to be seated. Indoor and outdoor seating are both available, and inside is spaced out just right—close enough to feel the energy, but not so close you’re sharing conversations with strangers. Menus are available by QR code or paper, whichever you prefer. Our server, Claire, was a whole experience by herself—genuine, funny, honest, and fast. We ordered drinks (yes, Bourbon Street‑style and strong in all the right ways), and by the time I stood up to grab my glasses, those beauties were already on the table. Service here does not play. The hardest part of the entire visit? Deciding what to order. The menu is stacked from top to bottom—drinks, appetizers, entrées, desserts, all of it. We started with the Deviled Eggs and the Boudin Balls. Listen… there are no human words for how perfect those Boudin Balls were. Hot, crispy, flavorful—10/10. And if you dip them in that sauce, it takes them straight to an 11. The deviled eggs were creamy, savory, and topped with bacon—little pockets of joy. For entrées, we had the Catfish Atchafalaya (a run‑don’t‑walk situation). I don’t even eat catfish, and I was tearing this dish up. I ordered the Chicken & Andouille Sausage Jambalaya, and baby, it had me dancing in my seat. We wrapped it all up with their Gas Station Beignets. I told Claire whoever is back there making these must’ve gotten the recipe from Café Du Monde because they taste exactly the same. I’m honestly shocked there isn’t a line wrapped around the block for these alone. This place is a 100/100 for me. If you love authentic Cajun cuisine, this is a must‑try. Austin, we’ve got a little slice of New Orleans hiding right here on East Ceasar Chavez. Read More

Everything was so delicious. The chicken with the waffles was perfect, the waffle was premade witch I understand it easier and faster to do but the drizzle brought everything together and I have no complaints. Gumbo and rice was great and was the perfect compliment to the chicken and waffles. The Catfish atchafalaya ... really stole the show. It was everything I wanted and would have ordered that first but I didn't see it right away, not that I was rushed by the server, but I was hungry enough to to eat a cow. Music is great, there is indoor and outdoor seating, and a bar I will have to try it next time. Read More
